On June 4-5 in Gloucester, Great Britain, ANQA staff participated in a workshop dedicated to introduction of transnational education.
The workshop was held within the TEMUS program “Promoting quality and recognition of transnational education in Armenia and Georgia”.
The experts’ visit within the accreditation process to Armenian State University of Economics, RA State Public Administration Academy and Yerevan Agricultural University is over. Earlier the experts had made visits to the Yerevan Haybusak University and Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University.
The expert group will make a site visit to ASUE within the accreditation process on 5-14th of May. During the ten days the experts will make surveys in ASUE main branch in Yerevan and in Gyumri and Eghegnadzor branches.
The group will have discussions with the university’s rector, vice rectors, deans, chairmen, lecturers, students, graduates and with a group that made self-study.
On 28-30th of April ANQA’s staff participated in three-day conference in Lyon, France on “Capacity building: Training the staff of higher education institutions”.
The conference was organized within the TEMPUS program called “Promotion quality and recognition of transnational education in Armenia and Georgia”.
The experts’ site visit to Yerevan “Haybusak” and “Mkhitar Gosh” Armenian-Russian international universities is over. During the 6 day visit, April 21-26, experts had met-discussions with the university's rector, vice rectors, deans, department heads, students, university graduates and potential employers. Before the experts’ site visit, Universities had already submitted their self-assessments to ANQA using the required form. Experts heard the opinion of separate groups about proposed issues during the visit.
