The site visits by the experts to the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan and Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction have started. The site visits are implemented within the frames of pilot accreditation by the World Bank grant project. The process is coordinated by ANQA.
Recent developments in higher education system at both national and international level ensure that while implementing quality assurance processes there is a dire need to express state academic standards in learning outcomes.
On 9 September 2009, the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance foundation (ANQA) organized a meeting with the representatives of the state universities to discuss the mechanisms, as well as drafts of quality assurance standards and procedures developed by ANQA. The fundamental approaches that ANQA has developed for promoting quality evaluation and accreditation were presented during the meeting. The HEIs representatives approved these approaches and made several comments and suggestions.
The National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance, Foundation developed and launched an electronic questionnaire in June 2009.
