On March 1, ANQA’s Accreditation Committee held a session. One of the agenda items concerned the institutional accreditation of the Shirak State University named after M. Nalbandyan.
Based on ANQA’s recommendations, by the Decree of the RA Government, the Statute on State Accreditation of Tertiary Level Institutions and their Academic Programmes in the Republic of Armenia has been amended.
According to the changes and amendments, the higher and vocational education institutions are awarded institutional accreditation:
On February 18-19, ANQA held workshops with the participation of vice-rectors and quality assurance managers from the accredited HEIs. The discussions focused on the internal auditing of the academic programmes (Aps), as specified in the decisions of ANQA’s Accreditation Committee.
On February 11, ANQA, in cooperation with the University of California, Davis, held an online session for Armenian students with the founders of the Article 26 Backpack. During the session, the Article 26 Backpack was introduced, a free cloud-based digital tool that facilitates academic mobility, empowering young people to plan and structure their higher education, training and career pathways.
