Recent developments in higher education system at both national and international level ensure that while implementing quality assurance processes there is a dire need to express state academic standards in learning outcomes.
On 9 September 2009, the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance foundation (ANQA) organized a meeting with the representatives of the state universities to discuss the mechanisms, as well as drafts of quality assurance standards and procedures developed by ANQA. The fundamental approaches that ANQA has developed for promoting quality evaluation and accreditation were presented during the meeting. The HEIs representatives approved these approaches and made several comments and suggestions.
The National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance, Foundation developed and launched an electronic questionnaire in June 2009.
Due to the initiative of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Poland Ashot Galoyan, strong ties between the Armenian and Polish tertiary education quality assurance agencies are established.
Muzio M. Gola, the Vice rector for Quality, Evaluation and Accreditation of Polytechnic of Torino was the guest of ANQA. The guest presented the international and Italian experience of quality assurance, but he noticed that in this area the Nederland had the best practice. According to Muzio M. Gola, the best way of quality assurance and evaluation in national level is the localization, adaptation and application of good practices of European countries.
