On October 31, at ANQA’s initiative, a meeting was held with HEI vice-rectors to explore new approaches to the development and application of KPIs for higher education institutions. The discussions focused on the principle that state funding for HEIs should be outcome-based, reflecting the actual effectiveness of education quality, governance and strategic development.
To ensure the effective implementation of the Law on Vocational Education and Training adopted in 2024, an expert discussion dedicated to the development and modernisation of sub-legislative acts in the VET sector took place on October 28-30 at the office of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ). The discussion was held as part of the GIZ Private Sector Development and Vocational Education and Training in Armenia (PSDVET) project.
On November 5, ANQA participated in the regular meeting of the Global Academic Integrity Network (GAIN). Discussions covered pressing issues in ensuring academic integrity and preventing violations.
ANQA continues to hold regular meetings with students to hear their observations and suggestions on issues related to education quality assurance. On October 31, ANQA held a meeting with the V. Brusov State University’s second-year master's students in the APs "Pedagogy" and "Education Assessment and Testing".
