Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Board of Trustees of the “National Center for Professional (higher and vocational) Education Quality Assurance” Foundation (ANQA) held this year’s final meeting in the Office of Government.
On November 25, 2011, the consecutive session of the ANQA Governing Board was held presided by the vice-president Tigran Sargsyan.
ANQA has received feedback relating to the deadlines, participation procedures and requirement for submission of reports for the forum “Internal Quality Assurance in the RA Tertiary Education: Challenges and Prospects” on December 20-21, 2011.
The site visits by the experts to the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan and Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction have started. The site visits are implemented within the frames of pilot accreditation by the World Bank grant project. The process is coordinated by ANQA.
Recent developments in higher education system at both national and international level ensure that while implementing quality assurance processes there is a dire need to express state academic standards in learning outcomes.
