On January 30, ANQA held the first post-discussion with trainers as part of “Building Innovative Teaching Capacities in VET (Development of Research and Digital Skills)” project, implemented with the support from the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation.
On January 19-23, under this project, trainings were conducted for about 80 teachers from VET institutions in the agricultural, medical and IT sectors. Following the trainings, ANQA organised a trainers’ meeting to sum up the conducted activities, observe the achieved outcomes and map out the next steps with VET institutions.
The trainers addressed the participants' approaches to research activities, highlighting the importance of a phased and systematic research in the educational process. It was emphasised that research can be conducted on the same topic through different datasets or in various implementation contexts, enabling a combination of a unified approach and individual or group activities.
The discussions also covered the need for a complete research cycle, from problem formulation and selection of data sources to analysis and presentation of conclusions. Special emphasis was placed on the practical component and the alignment of the educational process with the real-world professional environment, considering sector-specific peculiarities.
At the end of the meeting, the further steps, participant engagement formats and a task schedule were outlined to ensure the process continuity and stability.
