On December 3-5, as part of institutional accreditation, ANQA’s expert panel conducts an external review at the Tavush Regional College named after Patrick Devedjian.
The chair of the expert panel is Gayane Avetisyan, head of the Quality Assurance Department of M. Nalbandyan State University of Shirak, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor.
The members of the expert panel are Yelena Martirosyan, deputy pedagogical director at the French-Armenian Vocational Training Center, Bella Abrahamyan, teacher and quality assurance specialist at the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex, Tatevik Hakhnazaryan, a student of the AP "Organisation of Education" at the Yerevan State University.
The process coordinator is Liana Alaverdyan, specialist at ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division.
Prior to the site visit, the expert panel studied the education institution's self-evaluation report, the documents attached, as well as conducted desk review.
As part of the external review, the expert panel carried out class observations and resource observation. The panel held meetings with the education institution's management staff, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, students, alumni, employers, heads of subdivisions, quality assurance manager and a number of other stakeholders.
The expert panel had "professional talks" with the managers, teaching staff and students of the Aps "Tourism", "Cooking" and "Motor Transport Maintenance and Repair".
Following the site visit, the expert panel will compile a report, evaluating the education institution's activities against ten accreditation criteria. The experts will point out the enhancement areas and provide relevant recommendations, guiding the institution in the preparation of a follow-up plan with a clear schedule.
Next on, ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision whether to grant accreditation or reject it after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the education institution’s representatives and experts.
It should be noted that in 2022, the Tavush Regional College named after Patrick Devedjian was granted institutional accreditation for a period of four years.
