As part of the institutional accreditation process, an external review be conducted at the Tavush Regional College named after Patrick Devedjian.
On December 2, a meeting was held with ANQA’s director, expert panel and the coordinator of the education institution.
The discussions covered the key issues and hypotheses identified through desk review which will inform their observations during the external review.
The following issues were addressed:
- the institutional accreditation’s impact on the institution and its educational process, the results of the follow-up plan;
- the cooperation with employers, student assignments that align with the employer settings, the internship effectiveness.
It was highlighted that during the external review, the experts should focus on outcome-based education and whether the institution’s educational process leads to the preparation of practical specialists able to formulate pertinent issues, conduct research, collect and analyse data and make well-informed decisions.
