On September 24-26, as part of institutional accreditation, ANQA’s expert panel conducts an external review at the Megri State College.
The chair of the expert panel is Armenuhi Sargsyan, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor. The members of the expert panel are Bella Abrahamyan, teacher at the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex, Syuzanna Hovsepyan, head of the Chair of Economics at the Echmiadzin State College named after Vardges Hamazaspyan, Harutyun Chilingaryan, student of the AP "Organisation of Tourist Services with Advanced Knowledge of a Foreign Language" of the Kotayk Regional State College. The process coordinator is Lilit Ghazaryan, specialist at ANQA’s Secretariat.
Prior to the site visit, the expert panel studied the institutions' self-evaluation report, the documents attached, as well as conducted a desk review.
As part of the external review, the expert panel carried out class observations and resource observation. The panel held meetings with the education institution's management staff, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, heads of chairs, alumni, employers and heads of divisions.
The expert panel will have "professional talks" with the managers, teaching staff and students of the Aps "Accounting", "Organisation and Management of Transportation in Transport" and "Service Organisation".
Meetings with students, teachers, quality assurance managers and other stakeholders are also planned.
Following the site visit, the expert panel will compile a report, evaluating the education institution's activities against ten accreditation criteria. The experts will point out the enhancement areas and provide relevant recommendations, guiding the institution in the preparation of a follow-up plan with a clear schedule.
Next on, ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision whether to grant accreditation or reject it after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the education institution’s representatives and experts.
