On June 25, ANQA held a meeting with training specialists as part of the “Building innovative teaching capacities in VET (development of research and digital skills)” project, implemented with the support of the H. Hovnanyan Family Foundation.
The key topics of discussion were:
- importance of creative thinking and its cultivation through training;
- key aspects of formulating a research question;
- differences in the nature of laboratory work and research activities;
- criteria for research assessment;
- modern literature suitable for training.
It should be noted that ANQA’s “Building innovative teaching capacities in VET (development of research and digital skills)” project is designed to develop practical research and digital skills of VET institutions’ teachers, enabling them to independently revise and modernise academic programmes and course descriptors in alignment with labour market requirements and the National Qualifications Framework. As a result of the project:
- 80 teachers from VET institutions in agriculture, healthcare and IT will undergo practical training;
- academic programmrs will be revised to become more practical and modern, aligning with labour market requirements;
- culture of continuous self-evaluation and enhancement will be formed.
