On March 4-5, ANQA held another training course for experts. The aim was to expand the expert pool, engaging participants in the institutional and programme accreditation processes. It should be noted that in 2026, about 15 accreditation processes for VET institutions are planned, including five programme accreditations and ten institutional accreditations.
During the training, participants used their professional experience to analyse the academic programme (AP) outcomes and discuss essential requirements for students to be considered specialists in a given field.
The experts shared their approaches to:
- the evaluation of the AP effectiveness;
- the documents and data required to determine whether students achieve the intended outcomes.
On the second day of the training, roleplays were conducted in the form of a micro-site visit. The participants had the opportunity to act as experts, meet with the teaching staff and discuss the roadmap for the development of students' professional competencies.
Let us note that ANQA regularly organises training courses for representatives of HEIs and VET institutions, supporting the development of expert capacity in Armenian education institutions and the expansion of ANQA’s expert pool.
