On September 14-18, a workshop was held in Offenbach am Main, Germany, as part of the Erasmus+ QA4VET project. The event focused on the review of the Armenian VET institutions' mock accreditation results.
ANQA's specialists presented the Mock Accreditation Manual (MAM) developed as part of the project, reflecting on the key lessons and challenges identified throughout the process. The partner VET institutions' representatives, in turn, shared their self-evaluation experience within the mock accreditation process, highlighting the strengths, enhancement areas and development priorities. As a result of the group discussions, the project partners finalised the MAM, considering the results of the mock accreditation and the VET institutions’ experience.
The workshop also addressed the integration of digital and green components into the VET system. Potential KPIs for the evaluation of these areas were introduced and discussed with representatives of the partner VET institutions, as well as with the German and Romanian partners. The discussions explored their applicability within the Armenian VET system and how digital and green components can be incorporated into the evaluation of VET institutions' activities and academic programme quality.
The participants also visited the Gewerblich-technische Schulen der Stadt Offenbach am Main (GTS Offenbach), a vocational and technical school, to gain insight into the German approach to the integration of digitalisation, sustainable development and environmental technologies into VET.
