The Accreditation Committee, in its session on July 24, rejected programme accreditation for the Ararat State Medical College’s AP “Nursing”. The institution may reapply for programme accreditation after the elimination of shortcomings mentioned in the expert panel report.
The Accreditation Committee’s members discussed the expert panel report on the AP “Nursing”, considering the strengths and weaknesses, potential risks and the feasibility of the follow-up plan.
It should be noted that in 2025, programme accreditation of the AP "Nursing" was launched at five medical education institutions, including the Ararat State Medical College.
