On April 28, ANQA’s specialists joined an online webinar organised by the European Training Foundation (ETF), dedicated to QA of micro-credentials in VET.
The webinar featured the concept of micro-credentials, the specific features of their legal regulation in different countries and their role in the education system as a flexible and targeted mechanism for skills development aligned with labour market needs.
The discussions attached importance to the QA of micro-credentials, highlighting that QA processes should be applied as consistently as in long-term academic programmes. The continuous evaluation and enhancement in cooperation with employers was also considered essential.
Participation in such webinars offers an opportunity to explore international best practices and discuss current challenges and opportunities in the development of micro-credentials.
