On October 16, a meeting ANQA held a meeting with the participation of its director, expert panel members and coordinators for the accreditation processes of three VET institutions.
As part of institutional accreditation, site visits are scheduled to take place at the following institutions:
- Armavir State College of Art;
- Dilijan State College of Arts;
- Ararat Regional State College.
The meeting addressed the key issues identified through the desk review and the specific characteristics of external review of VET institutions representing various professional fields.
It was highlighted that expert evaluation should be grounded in data and evidence, enabling the evaluation not only of the institutional processes and their documentation but also of the actual outcomes of their implementation.
Particular emphasis was placed on the effectiveness of the AP implementation, the achievement of intended learning outcomes and the development of students’ practical competences, the organisation of dual education, the expansion of practical learning opportunities and the provision of conditions necessary for the development of professional skills.
It was emphasised that the expert panel reports should be clear, evidence-based and development-oriented, reflecting not only the issues identified but also the strengths and best practices. Expert panel recommendations should help VET institutions define their enhancement priorities and implement systematic changes.
