On April 29, as part of the Erasmus+ QA4VET project, a series of workshops launched, bringing together internal quality assurance groups from partner VET institutions.
The workshops aim to support institutions in the evaluation and continuous enhancement of academic programmes (AP) in line with institutional accreditation criteria, fostering the development of a systematic quality assurance culture.
During the first meeting, the participants addressed standards for academic programmes and opportunities for the integration of green and digital capacities. The participants shared their practice, noting that VET institutions already review and enhance academic programmes based on feedback from various stakeholders, employer requirements, and student internship outcomes.
The discussions highlighted the importance of systematic data collection and analysis for informed changes. It was also stressed that the AP enhancement should be implemented at the institutional level, ensuring the balanced development of various units and academic programmes.
Particular emphasis was placed on the employer engagement, as well as the alignment of teaching and assessment methods with the AP outcomes.
The programme aims to collaborate with partner VET institutions in a step-by-step process, fostering the development of analytical skills through practical activities. At the next meeting, a data-driven SWOT analysis will be presented, after which the VET institutions will conduct their own analyses and receive feedback.
