As part of the institutional accreditation, site to the Masis State Agricultural College and the Gyumri State Music College named after Kara-Murza will be conducted soon.
On October 13, ANQA held a meeting with the participation of the education institutions’ expert panels, ANQA’s director and the head of the Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division and coordinators.
The experts discussed the key issues and hypotheses identified through the desk review, which will inform their observations during the external review.
The main points addressed were:
- Do the institutions’ resources contribute to the effective implementation of academic programmes and the achievement of intended outcomes?
- How is the collaboration with employers structured? Do students receive assignments aligned with the employer settings? How effective are internships?
- How do the institutions cultivate specialists with analytical thinking skills?
It was highlighted that the education institutions should establish KPIs to clarify their priorities and evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented activities.
It was stressed that during the external review, the experts should focus on outcome-based education and evaluate whether the educational processes produce practical specialists able to define relevant issues, conduct research, collect and analyse data, and make informed decisions.
The meeting ended with an emphasis that the expert recommendations should be precise, practical, and solution-oriented, addressing the institutions’ issues.
