On June 13, another training course for student experts as part of ANQA’s "Students’ Voice" project ended with a formal certificate ceremony. The practice exchange familiarised students with new opportunities in quality assurance.
Varduhi Gyulazyan, head of ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division, welcomed the graduates and highlighted the key role students play in ANQA’s activities: "Students are one of ANQA's pillars, with many of our staff members having started their careers as student experts. These certificates are not just documents. They serve as a powerful tool for engaging in large processes".
The success stories of ANQA’s student experts, both in Armenia and abroad, were presented. Student experts involved in accreditation at various education institutions shared their practices, noting that ANQA’s courses equipped them to become demanding, rather than complaining students, capable of accurately formulating and raising issues in the educational process. The importance of active student participation in educational processes was also highlighted. In this context, Varduhi Gyulazyan emphasised the role of research-encouraging assignments and formative assessment grounded in the employer settings to produce specialists tackling professional issues.
