Taking into account stakeholders’ needs, ANQA is organising a training course dedicated to the quality assurance of academic programmes.
The “Quality Assurance Mechanisms for Academic Programmes” training is intended for staff responsible for internal quality assurance at higher education institutions, academic programme coordinators, teaching staff, heads of departments, and institutional managers. The aim of the training is to support the development of quality assurance mechanisms for academic programmes within higher education institutions.
The training will address the following key topics:
- objectives and tasks of academic programmes in the context of the institution’s strategy;
- development of intended learning outcomes and outcome-based curriculum mapping;
- planning student progression;
- independent student work and mechanisms for credit calculation;
- mechanisms for selecting teaching and learning methods;
- student assessment and provision of appropriate resources;
- research-based education;
- quality assurance mechanisms at the level of the lecturer, academic programme and higher education institution.
The training will last 3 days. The participation fee is AMD 50,000.
