The National Centre for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA) is organising a three-day training course on “Aligning Educational Programmes with WFME (World Federation for Medical Education) Standards.”
The training will cover the following topics:
- international standards in medical education;
- contemporary teaching and assessment methods in medical education, including the development of Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) checklists, the design of Mini-CEX (Mini Clinical Evaluation Exercise) tasks, and other related tools.
The training will include a strong practical component and a range of hands-on assignments.
The training will be delivered by:
- Mariam Velijanashvili, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Geomedi University, Georgia; lecturer in Human Anatomy at the same university; certified specialist of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE);
- Nino Chichveishvili, expert at Georgia’s National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE); co-founder and President of the Women’s Scientific Association.
Total duration: 15 hours
The training will consist of 3 sessions, each lasting 5 hours.
