On October 31, at ANQA’s initiative, a meeting was held with HEI vice-rectors to explore new approaches to the development and application of KPIs for higher education institutions. The discussions focused on the principle that state funding for HEIs should be outcome-based, reflecting the actual effectiveness of education quality, governance and strategic development.
ANQA extends its appreciation to Douglas Blackstock, president of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), for his outstanding contribution to the development of the European higher education quality assurance system and strengthening cooperation.
On October 24, ANQA conducted a monitoring of the internal quality assurance system at the Yerevan Juridical-Economic and Management College. The aim was to determine the extent to which the quality assurance system is embedded in the education institution, how it operates, and which quality assurance processes are in place.
As part of the monitoring, meetings were held with the education institution’s director, deputy directors, teachers and students.
ANQA is the coordinator of the Erasmus+ KPI4HE project's third work package (WP3). As part of the WP3, the previously developed KPIs will be piloted at partner HEIs. This will enable a more comprehensive evaluation of the HEIs’ performance outcomes and help identify areas for enhancement.
The goal is to educate a generation equipped to research, analyse, and enhance processes in the real-world work environment.
